Harbor Kidz

Harbor Light believes that each child is special and important to God. We are committed to providing a quality learning environment where children will experience God's love. We strive for excellence in all our classes at every age level. We believe in the importance of children learning the things of God as they develop a personal relationship with Him.

toddlers (ages 0-3 years)

Child care is offered every Sunday Morning, Wednesday Evening, and Sunday Evenings. On a weekday you can bring your child to the nursery through ringing the doorbell at the church office. On Sundays, come to the nursery through the foyer to drop off your child. Our dedicated nursery team members have been through a screening and fingerprinting process to insure the safety and well-being of your children.

During special events, the nursery is available for children up to age 5.

Preschool (ages 4-kindergarden)

If you have a child in preschool, we have several options:

  1. Sunday mornings during the main service in the sanctuary, we have age-appropriate classes on the preschool campus.
  2. Nursery care up to age 4 at special events like FCS concerts or other productions held at Harbor Light.

  3. Wednesday nights Prime Time begins at age 5. Not yet 5? Our nursery is open for all preschoolers up to age 5.

  4. Sunday nights your preschooler (beginning at age 3) can go to Rainbows - a club where they are taught Christian values in a preschool-friendly environment.

elementary (grades 1st-6th)

Your First - Sixth grade student has plenty to opportunities here at Harbor Light.

  1. Sunday mornings During the 10:30 service  we offer the elementary student Kid's Church. Your kids can be dropped off at the Y-Building for their service. Once a month the kids stay in the main service the whole time - we call it Family Sunday. It usually falls on the third Sunday of the month.

  2. Sunday nights at 6:00pm we have separate clubs for both boys and girls. Boys may attend Royal Rangers in the FCS gym. Girls (and preschool boys) may attend Girls Ministries in the FCS activities building. Both Rangers and Girls Ministries are scouting programs (similar to Boy Scouts/ Girl Scouts) where your child can go on trips and earn badges. It is never too late to register!

  3. Wednesday nights Prime Time is for kids ages 5 years old up through Fifth Grade meet in the Gym. (6th graders go to Youth in the Y Building)

  4. Day camps occur throughout the year during school breaks, so that parents have a safe and affordable option for childcare while they are working. We offer field trips, movies, jump houses, and lots of time to play.
